Ryan & BreAnn & everything else:)

Okay.
Bam.
This whole blogging thing.
Awful at it.
But I'm working at it.
Cause it's I think a necessity for things like this.
Anyways.
I have so many ideas for shoots in my mind that I just want to develop into reality all at once, so many lenses I want to buy, a new camera, film camera, props, new designs I want to do, blah blah blah.
but unfortunately that takes time. and money.
Both of which I don't have much of.
Any of really.
Time more so than money, but eh.
We'll get there! Slowly but surely!
In the mean time, I've done a little with this very slow paced business I'm trying to make grow.
And some of the pictures are, woohoo, below.
Three weeks later:)
I shot my very first wedding on May 25, of the beautiful Ryan and BreAnn Kuhn. And I hope it's the first of many.
Finally got them off in the mail.
And ohhh my goodness.
It was one of the most STUNNING weddings I have ever seen, and I can not thank them enough for letting me be a part of it.  Every detail was literally perfect and their entire event from the Rehearsal Dinner down to the Bride and Groom leaving, I was just in awe at how great it was.  And what makes it better is the Bride and Groom and their ENTIRE family are so kind and so wonderful to be around.
I only hope I did it justice and captured their big day how they wanted.
It was perfect and fun and just lovely to be at.
But don't get me wrong, it was nerve-racking.  Nerve-racking and stressful because I had spent weeks, months, prepping for it (just ask any one, pretty sure it was all I talked about till about, eh, a week ago, sorry) to make sure  I had all the equipment I needed and everything to work as planned. And then when the day came it was that butterfly feeling all over again. Cause if you mess up a wedding....
You can't re-do a wedding.
So.......
But on the plus side. It was cloudy. Those who take pictures will know what I mean.  The weather said it was supposed to be a hundred percent sun, not a cloud in the sky. Not ideal.
But. Turns out. Cloud coverage. Booyah.
But let me tell ya.
It was a long day.  A long day that I am so very grateful to have been a part of.
AND I couldn't have done it without the help of my friend Alyssa.
Life saver. Seriously.  She was the best assistant anybody could ever ask for and I can't thank her enough for helping me out take pictures, hand me lenses, remind me to eat, haha etc. etc.  I really couldn't have done it without her help. So thank you a million:)
Nonetheless, the day came and went and I only hope to have delivered pictures that they can look back on and it will bring back every memory of every detail about their day.
And the amount that I learned throughout that day.  Things to do in the future, things not to do.
I ended up with over 6,000 pictures of the day??
Like who does that?
Who needs that?
Who wants to go THROUGH all that?
As pretty as they were to go through,
6,000 I think was a little over-kill.
But.
Went through it.
Edited.
Decided I didn't like the way I did them.
Re-edited.
etc. etc.
And they ended up with a good chunk of the images. Pretty sure I wrote in the letter that there was about 150 of edited and unedited.
Wrong. Pretty sure there ended up being about 300 of each on that flash drive.
Thats okay. The more the better?
Right?
And it was worth it all.  I learn new things with every shoot that I do, and not that I've done an INSANE amount of them,
even the times that I drag out people I know to let me practice,
I learn more and more.
Cause that's what it's all about, right?
And well, if they just are awful, I thought about just calling it quits.
But I'd rather not seeing as how I don't really have a Plan B.
Don't want one either.
Anyways:)
Check out the lovely couple below:)

I also got the chance to shoot an old high-school friends baby boy, Dominick. And he's a cutie.  Wasn't a fan of the camera or standing in a bunch of tall grass for the pictures, but he's a cutie still and has a great mom by his side :)

I can't get enough of how insanely gorgeous this first look was.

I just can't. These two are too perfect.

Crying a little 'cause these two are the most adorable ring-bearers I ever did see.

So. Some said I may or may not have been a little biased towards the flower girl.
But I mean seriously?
Who wouldn't be?
