Hawaii is Always a Good Idea.

It's crazy how fast time goes by.
Literally crazy.
I feel like just yesterday I was graduating high school and figuring out what to do with my life.
Hm.
Negative.
That was a solid two years ago?
Been to two different colleges already,
going on my third,
Got credits everywhere.
(like who does that??)
Don't even know where I'm going next,
meaning I still don't have life figured out...
but that's oddly become okay.
Because since then I've had so many great experiences that make me who I am and have made me really look at life in a different perspective,
a perspective I really needed.
And that perspective came to me in my move to Hawaii.
Not just because, well, who wouldn't have a good time in Hawaii,
But it's crazy the things it can teach you.
For the past seven months its been everything close to perfect looking back on it.
And there comes a time where you have to move on and take those memories and experiences with you,
 make the best of them,
and never forget them.
As much as it pains me to give up the year round tan and beach across the street.
The day I become insanely white again will probably be a really mournful day.
Cause it really was a never ending summer.
But even in the midst of everything it had to offer, and it had A LOT to offer,
you still had life and its daily complications and worries.
You still stressed about money.
You still stressed about school.
You still worried about all the little things that happen on a daily basis.
That's just life, and its going to follow you no matter where you go.
However,
somehow, that move made me look at the bigger picture.
That's the best part.
You realize there are so many greater things than those little disagreements, and arguments, how you're going to pay the next bill, etc.
Being 2700 miles away from all family, friends you've known, you realize that what matters is the people you surround yourself, the love you give, and the time you have and how to make the most of it.
I never valued time so much, friends (new and old) so much, family so much, or little conversations as much as I did in that time.
It sounds so cliche to say that its the little things that matter,
but really what else is there?
We've been given so much to see, so much to learn, and half the time we spend that time we have worrying about things that sure, should be worried about, and are always going to be there, but in the midst of all that we forget that we're losing time to do things that we've been blessed with the opportunity to do.
Just go, and do, and don't stress about things that haven't ACTUALLY happened yet.
 Time doesn't stop for anybody.
In that time,
I was taught how important it is for us to enjoy every second of every day and live it to its fullest.
How small we are compared to the world, and how its here for us to explore, experience, and appreciate.
It taught me patience, when things (aka transportation and the way time works down there in general), didn't work out as planned, but to still make the most of it.
It taught me what it means to be a true friend, because I met the truest friends down there that I wouldn't trade for anyone.
It taught me how to love and appreciate, how to pursue my dreams and never give up on them no matter how hard it gets, and no matter how many people tell you you can't, because I have heard some pretty crazy success stories so lets be honest, anything is possible.
It taught me to just take a second, look around, and recognize that no matter how many things seem to be going wrong, it could always be worse, and you've been given a pretty freaking good life.
I learned how to focus on the positives and not the negatives,
and simply
to never take a single second that I'm given for granted,
because somebody would kill to be in your shoes.
